Garment Bag Care

• You can choose to wash your garment bag in cold water before use. However, it is more important to launder and thoroughly air out your dress or garment before all seasonal and long term storage.

Follow The Care Instructions | Professional Dry Cleaner

• Please follow the care instructions for your garment. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stains, odours and perfumes immediately after wearing your garment, so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

Garment Storage Tips

• Ensure you lay the garment or dress down and do up any fastens, zips, clips or buttons to maintain the shape of your attire before storing or travelling with your garment.

• When storing a dress or gown with a train long term, place white Acid Free Tissue Paper below and above the garment fabric, cover the embellishments, and then loosely roll the train. Rolling the train (instead of folding) minimises creases while protecting and preserving delicate fabrics. Then neatly place the dress inside the garment bag and carefully close the two zippers to the end.           

Robust and Layered Skirts

• Fold the bottom corners of your dress inwards towards the waistline. Gently roll up the train of the gown until it can fit inside the garment bag without bunching too much.

Self Healing Side Zips

• Your lovely garment bag conveniently includes two full length side zips for easy access and storage. A self healing zip means if the zipper (or zip teeth) were to come apart, misalign, or get stuck, or the zip puller was to dislodge from the tracking due to overfilling the bag. Simply unzip and rezip the garment from end to end to 'heal' and reseal the zip. We love this added feature, as the garment bag is guaranteed to keep your garment or dress secure, fully enclosed and protected at all times.

• You can choose to wash your garment bag in cold water before use. However, it is more important to launder and thoroughly air out your dress before all seasonal and long term storage.

Follow The Care Instructions | Professional Dry Cleaner

• Please follow the care instructions for your dress. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stains, odours and perfumes immediately after your wedding day so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

Wedding Dress Storage

• Ensure you lay the dress down and do up any fastens, zips, clips or buttons to maintain the shape of the dress before storing or travelling with your dress.

• When storing your wedding dress with a train long term, place white Acid Free Tissue Paper below and above the garment fabric, cover the embellishments, and then loosely roll the train. Rolling the train (instead of folding) minimises creases while protecting and preserving delicate fabrics. Then, neatly place the dress inside the garment bag and carefully close the two zippers to the end.           

Robust and Layered Skirts

• Taking the bottom corners of your dress, fold them inwards towards the waistline. Gently roll up the train of the gown until it can fit inside the garment bag without bunching too much.

^Self Healing Side Zips

• Your lovely garment bag includes two full length side zips for easy access and storage. A self healing zip means if the zipper (or zip teeth) were to come apart or misalign, get stuck, or the zip puller was to dislodge from the tracking due to overfilling the bag. Simply unzip and rezip the garment from end to end to 'heal' and reseal the zip. We love this added feature, as the garment bag is guaranteed to keep your dress secure, fully enclosed and protected at all times.

Garment Bag Care

• You can choose to wash your garment bag in cold water before use. However, it is more important to launder and thoroughly air out your dress before all seasonal and long term storage.

Follow The Care Instructions | Professional Dry Cleaner

• Please follow the care instructions for your dress. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stains, odours and perfumes immediately after your wedding day, so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

Wedding Dress Storage

• Ensure you lay the dress down and do up any fastens, zips, clips or buttons to maintain the shape of the dress before storing or travelling with your dress.

• When storing your wedding dress with a train long term, place white Acid Free Tissue Paper below and above the garment fabric, cover the embellishments, and then loosely roll the train. Rolling the train (instead of folding) minimises creases while protecting and preserving delicate fabrics. Then neatly place the dress inside the garment bag and carefully close the two zippers to the end.           

Robust and Layered Skirts

• Taking the bottom corners of your dress, fold them inwards towards the waistline. Gently roll up the train of the gown until it can fit inside the garment bag without bunching too much.

^Self Healing Side Zips

• Your lovely garment bag includes two full length side zips for easy access and storage. A self healing zip means if the zipper (or zip teeth) were to come apart or misalign, get stuck, or the zip puller was to dislodge from the tracking due to overfilling the bag. Simply unzip and rezip the garment from end to end to 'heal' and reseal the zip. We love this added feature, as the garment bag is guaranteed to keep your dress secure, fully enclosed and protected at all times.

The veil hanger supports your veil before and after your big day with its stylish features. A unique long hanger hook for ease of veil storage and clear silicone protected end and inner clip inserts help prevent snagging, tearing, and catching delicate fabrics. 

Kazzi Kovers veil hanger is custom made, generous in size and includes a 14.5 cm total height and a 4.8 cm chrome metal clip (not plastic) to hold and secure your veil comfortably.

VEIL CARE

Loosen the wrinkles. When you receive your veil, it is essential to remove it from its packaging and hang up your veil to loosen any wrinkles naturally. After a few days, gently steam out any wrinkles and remaining folds. Avoid using hot tools, irons, or direct heat on your veil, as this will damage the delicate fabric and can become discoloured and cause irreparable damage under high heat. 

To loosen any remaining wrinkles, use a garment steamer or steam from the iron, but DO NOT touch the fabric or tulle with the metal iron plate. Alternatively, you can steam your veil by hanging it during long, hot showers in the bathroom. The steam from the water will loosen the veil folds over time.

VEIL STORAGE

Simply clip your veil by the comb to shuffle out any creases and keep your veil wrinkle-free.

Make sure your veil is thoroughly dry before any long term storage. This will prevent discolouration and any mould and mildew damage to your veil. 

Avoid Direct Sunlight. Store your veil in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing your veil in direct sunlight. Excessive exposure to sunlight will discolour and damage your veil.

• Professional Dry Cleaner. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stubborn stains, odours, and contaminants if necessary, so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

• Follow The Care Instructions. Read and follow the manufacturer or designer's care instructions on how to best care for the item or garment you are storing and preserving. They know best. 
  

• It is important to Wash your storage bag in cold water before long term storage, particularly when storing delicate and vintage fabrics, family heirlooms and mementoes.

PRESERVATION STORAGE TIPS

• Always make sure your hands are washed and dry. Remove any lotions, oils or creams on your hands before handling the garment, item or keepsake to remove residue that can stain or permeate the item or garment.
  

• Wear Cotton Gloves. For optimum care, wear cotton gloves for sensitive, delicate, fragile and vintage items so skin oils or stains do not transfer to the things you store. 

• Professional Dry Cleaner. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stubborn stains, odours, and contaminants if necessary, so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

• Follow The Care Instructions. Read and follow the manufacturer or designer's care instructions on how to best care for the item or garment you are storing and preserving. They know best. 
  

• It is important to Wash your storage bag in cold water before long term storage, particularly when storing delicate and vintage fabrics, family heirlooms and mementoes.
  

• Ensure your items are laundered, stain free, and thoroughly dry before long term storage. Laundering (washing) ensures that your items are pristine and cleaned before any long term storage. Also, check that what you are storing is 100% dry to avoid moisture buildup and the growth of mould and mildew.

• Store your items in a cool, dry location. Storing your items under the bed, on a wardrobe shelf, linen cupboard and away from direct sunlight is the optimal storage space. Avoid storing your belongings near damp areas, such as bathrooms, ensuites, and the laundry, to eliminate condensation and potential mould issues.
