Kazzi Kovers Bridal Garment Bag is custom made from soft 100% cotton fabric. Our garment cover is plastic free and acid free, as these materials can be detrimental to the longevity of your gown. 

Cotton is a sustainable, breathable fabric that allows fresh air to circulate comfortably in and around your stored garment, helps nourish the fabric fibres and promotes longevity and preservation for the piece that will last a lifetime. (That's why we LOVE cotton!)

Each Kazzi Kovers Bridal Garment Bag is also finished with a reinforced hanger opening and two strong cotton loops at the bottom of the bag so you can suitably fold, store, carry, and transport your dress before, during, and after your wedding day.

Kazzi Kovers Garment Bag for wedding gown is fully enclosed and designed to safeguard your cherished gown against the elements, including dust, dirt, insects (especially moths), sunlight, mould and moisture build-up. 

Once you seal the two full-length side zips to the bottom, nothing can enter your bag. Your beloved gown is guaranteed to be well protected and stored when travelling to and from your destination and thereafter, providing the necessary garment care your dress deserves.

If space is plentiful, storing your wedding gown flat is also an option to prevent further creasing. Place the garment bag away from direct sunlight for optimal dress care and preservation.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS and WEDDING DRESS STORAGE TIPS

Garment Bag Care

• You can choose to wash your garment bag in cold water before use. However, it is more important to launder and thoroughly air out your dress before all seasonal and long term storage.

Follow The Care Instructions | Professional Dry Cleaner

• Please follow the care instructions for your dress. Seek a professional and qualified dry cleaner to remove any stains, odours and perfumes immediately after your wedding day, so no stains or perfumes are permanently set before any long term storage. 

Wedding Dress Storage

• Ensure you lay the dress down and do up any fastens, zips, clips or buttons to maintain the shape of the dress before storing or travelling with your dress.

• When storing your wedding dress with a train long term, place white Acid Free Tissue Paper below and above the garment fabric, cover the embellishments, and then loosely roll the train. Rolling the train (instead of folding) minimises creases while protecting and preserving delicate fabrics. Then neatly place the dress inside the garment bag and carefully close the two zippers to the end.

Robust and Layered Skirts

• Taking the bottom corners of your dress, fold them inwards towards the waistline. Gently roll up the train of the gown until it can fit inside the garment bag without bunching too much.

^Self Healing Side Zips

• Your lovely garment bag includes two full length side zips for easy access and storage. A self healing zip means if the zipper (or zip teeth) were to come apart or misalign, get stuck, or the zip puller was to dislodge from the tracking due to overfilling the bag. Simply unzip and rezip the garment from end to end to 'heal' and reseal the zip. We love this added feature, as the garment bag is guaranteed to keep your dress secure, fully enclosed and protected at all times.
